A little about me..... I'm a female Impersonator/Celebrity Illusionist. I've been studying this fabulous artform for the past 10 years, and I have to say "I Love It"!
I started in New York where I was born and raised with the help of my drag mother; Ariel Sinclair and my "X" partner; Chris/Peggy Pussy. Alexis De La Mer was created! I started traveling and performing alongside Ariel as we traveled through Long Island and New Jersey. I performed at ,Silver Lining, Hatfield's, Spectrums, Chameleon's, Magic Touch, and Starz.
I won Ms. Magic Touch, Miss Long Island and best Bette Midler "Look-a-Like" along the way, which helped me book my own shows! I was thrilled to travel with a traveling LaCage group as Bette Midler where I met alot of great people and worked in Country Clubs and Dinner Theatre's across New York and New Jersey.
The last summer that I lived in New York I was proud to work at the World famous Cherry Grove Beach Hotel/Ice Palace, where I had my own show with drag sister Brenda Star!
For the past 7 years I have been living in Port Richey, outside of Tampa, Florida. Thanks to my good friends at MyGayWeb, I flew back to New York two years ago and was featured on the Maury Povich Show. They saw my interview on MyGayWeb and e-mailed me. It was so Much Fun!
Two years ago I flew up to Mogantown, West Virginia where I performed with good friend/show director Gina Jordan at Club Vice Versa. I also met Goddess and Diva; Miss Ohio Entertainer of The Year, Danyel Vazquez, from Ohio. She is AMAZING! Last year I also traveled with Bobby York (St. Petersburg, Florida's own Cher Impersonator) to Atlanta, Georgia to see Tampa legend, COMA. We all had the honor and performed at Le Buzz in Atlanta. Coma and I performed my Evanessence Mega-Mix that we had perfomed at Miss Florida at Large!
I work on cast at my home bar, Waterside Landing in Port Richey and Pulse in Lakeland. I also travel the state and worked at the Parliament House in Orlando, Snappers in Naples, Byrd Cage in Port St.Lucie, Club Z109 in Clearwater and Circuit in Fort Lauderdale.
The past few years living in Tampa, I won Miss Pasco County, and Miss Comic Strip at Waterside Landing and placed 2nd runner up twice at Miss Hernando, a preliminary for Miss Florida F.I, and also placed in the top five at last years Miss Florida at Large.
Right now I'm happy to say that I have three beautiful drag daughters; Gusty Winds from Lips in New York, Dominque DeLauren and Sable De La Mer under my belt!
My artform has changed the past few years as in New York I was more colorful and campy. Now in Florida I'm more softer and pageant happy! Now I seem to be going more edgier with a touch of Goth Glam. My Celebrity illusion's consist of Bette Midler, Liza Minelli and Wyonna Judd.
